As the needs of restaurants and small businesses continue to change and a post-pandemic world opens up, DoorDash is also evolving and growing. In order to better serve our business partners and local stakeholders — and inspired by their feedback — we are changing how we do business so merchants can choose exactly how they work with us.

Which DoorDash Pricing Plan is best for my business?

DoorDash offers three flexible Plans—Basic, Plus, and Premier—so you can choose how to grow based on your business goals and the level of built-in support you want. Each plan includes access to delivery and pickup through the DoorDash app, $0 activation fees, and a free trial period so you can see which plan drives the best results for your store.

As of 2025, the Premier pricing plan now includes even more growth support, including automatic ads run on your behalf at no extra cost¹, a $200 professional food photography credit to help cover additional costs like styling², and a 35% discount on the DoorDash Commerce Platform Pro package to help grow direct sales and customer loyalty³.

DoorDash Basic

With 15% delivery commission, the DoorDash Basic plan is the most cost-effective way for restaurants to offer delivery and pickup to customers on the DoorDash app.

Jai Meals operates out of a local mall, so delivery has been an important part of how I have made up for lost income over the past year of dine-in closures. Despite this, my previous commission didn't work for my business; it was hard to absorb that high of a cost, especially when delivery became a large percentage of my orders.

With the Basic plan, I can offer delivery to customers, who increasingly enjoy the convenience delivery provides, but at a cost that is more aligned with my products, my goals and my customers' needs.

Though the Basic plan has a smaller delivery area than Plus and Premier, restaurants can expand their reach on Basic with optional, a la carte marketing programs like Drive On-Demand

DoorDash Plus

With the 25% delivery commission rate of the DoorDash Plus pricing plan, restaurants can increase sales with an expanded delivery area and access to DashPass, our customer loyalty program that serves high-value customers who order more frequently. Restaurants with DashPass access get increased visibility in our app, and DashPass customers pay reduced fees when they order from DashPass stores.

DoorDash Premier

DoorDash Premier offers businesses the strongest growth potential. With the Premier pricing plan, restaurants can maximize sales by accessing the largest delivery area and frequent, high-value DashPass customers. With the Premier plan, you’re also backed by our Growth Guarantee. If your restaurant gets 20 or fewer orders in a month across Pickup and Delivery, DoorDash will refund your delivery commission for that month⁴.

With DoorDash Premier, you’ll get automatic ads run on your behalf at no extra cost¹, a free professional photoshoot² with a $200 credit toward extras, and 35% off the Commerce Platform Pro package³. These built-in benefits work together to help you reach more customers, boost visibility, and make the most of your Partnership Plan.

New Pickup Pricing (6%) 

The pickup commission rate across all plans is being reduced from 15% to 6%, giving our partners the opportunity to use DoorDash to connect directly with customers in their neighborhood at a significantly lower cost. This rate, and all delivery rates, includes payment processing costs. 

Accept orders on your website and channels with Online Ordering

DoorDash Online Ordering is an online ordering solution that allows businesses to incorporate DoorDash ordering, delivery, and pickup logistics directly into their website and owned channels. Offered via DoorDash Commerce Platform, the Online Ordering product enables businesses to turn a standard informational site into an e-commerce site, allowing them to own more parts of the customer relationship, including customer insights and ordering data. 

Online Ordering is available to all restaurants in the US, Canada, and Australia.

Online Ordering allows restaurants to benefit from the same technology that powers millions of DoorDash orders every day – leading to larger orders, quicker checkouts, and more sales for your business.

These changes were developed in response to direct feedback from business owners and as part of a larger effort to help increase their profits. As the industry continues to evolve, DoorDash is committed to listening to feedback from our restaurant partners, including at monthly Restaurant Advisory Council meetings, and providing services and solutions that are helpful, impactful, and fair.

²Premier Merchants who have not yet completed their DoorDash complimentary photoshoot are eligible to receive a $200 payment to cover food prep, setup, or other costs after completing their complimentary photoshoot. Premier Merchants that are outside of the DoorDash photoshoot service area are eligible to receive the $200 payment after uploading 10 approved photos to their menus. If a Premier Merchant has previously received a $300 incentive payment from DoorDash for uploading menu photos, they will not be eligible for this $200 payment. Amount of payments are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

⁴Partnership Plans are available for restaurants with 75 or fewer locations in the US. 6% Pickup is available to all partners in the US who comply with the DoorDash Merchant Terms of Service, including having DoorDash Pickup menu prices match in-store prices.

⁶For the Merchant Location’s first 6 months on the Marketplace platform as a Premier merchant partner, they are eligible for this rebate if (1) they cancel fewer than 5 orders that month and (2) maintain “open hours” on DoorDash for 90% of the Store Hours that they have set in the Merchant Portal.
