What are DoorDash commission rates and pricing plans?
Every business is unique, which is why we offer a variety of products, services, and pricing structures that support different goals. DoorDash pricing plans give restaurants more options for their partnership with DoorDash — including the ability to choose a plan based on the commission rate and level of built-in marketing support they want.

Delivery services get a bad rap because of the commission, but DoorDash is bringing us new clients. That's how I look at the commission — we're paying for advertising and customer acquisition.
What are my options for using DoorDash products?
DoorDash offers a variety of pricing plans so that you can choose the option that best fits the specific needs and goals of your business. To help you understand how much DoorDash costs for your business, let's review the pricing and fee structures for three popular DoorDash products: DoorDash Marketplace, Online Ordering, and DoorDash Drive On-Demand.
Marketplace: Delivery and Pickup on DoorDash
When you become a DoorDash partner, customers find your restaurant on the DoorDash app or website and place orders for delivery or pickup. You'll manage incoming orders through a tablet or point of sale integration, and DoorDash will facilitate the delivery logistics with Dashers.
DoorDash Marketplace partners pay a commission for each order, and we offer three tiers of DoorDash pricing plans¹ with different commission rates and marketing support. Restaurants choose from commission rates based on varying levels of built-in marketing. There are no payment processing fees for restaurants on DoorDash app or website orders, no termination fees, and no flat fees unless you choose to use a DoorDash tablet. DoorDash tablet pricing varies by region. You can learn more here. You can also change your plan at any time.
If you sign up for a Plus or Premier pricing plan, you’ll reach DashPass customers—frequent, high-value diners who order more often and spend more than non-DashPass customers. This is a win-win for restaurants, as they can access higher spending customers, while shoppers pay lower service and delivery fees.
Online Ordering: your own website for direct ordering
DoorDash's Online Ordering is part of the DoorDash Commerce Platform, a collection of products and tools that help merchants scale their businesses and their brands. Online Ordering enables you to drive sales and acquire new regulars with ordering done directly through your own channels. The DoorDash Commerce Platform Starter Package is included in your DoorDash Marketplace account, while the Boost and Pro packages provide more advanced tools to build customer loyalty and drive sales.
With the Starter Package, Online Ordering starts at 0% commission, with a credit card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per order.

DoorDash Drive On-Demand is ideal for restaurants that already have an online ordering system.
Drive On-Demand is a reliable and easy-to-use delivery fulfillment solution that allows you to offer customers delivery through your own app, website, or other ordering channel. You pay a flat fee per order, and a Dasher will deliver directly to your customers. You can either automate deliveries through your Middleware Provider or request Dashers when you need them.
Merchants who use DoorDash Drive On-Demand pay a flat delivery fee per delivery with no signup, subscription, payment processing, or termination fees.
